When Seattle's Waterfront restaurant, the flagship of the Buchanan family empire, begins to sink, Cal Buchanan is called in to save it. He knows that the only way to redeem the floundering establishment is to hire the finest chef possible. Unfortunately, that person happens to be his ex-wife, Penny Jackson. The feisty Penny finally accepts his offer of complete control of the kitchen, neglecting to tell Cal that she's pregnant. Cal has a few secrets of his own, including the one that destroyed their marriage the first time around.
