Warren Parker resides on the eastern plains of Colorado, not so very far from where his great grandfather homesteaded in 1887. He grew up on theses plains and carries in his heart the majesty and beauty of all they represent. This book is a recollection of his early days on those plains, but it's message is one that runs true to this day and forever. Many of the stories come from his own experiences while others are the fruit of those folk with whom Mr. Parker has shared prairie life.
